Alcohol inks are brightly colored dye-based paints that are most often used in creating free flowing textures. Get first hand experience in dealing with non-conventional paints combined with epoxy resin. Enjoy the “flow” and pour to your heart’s content.

What is epoxy resin?

Epoxy resin is a form of “liquid plastic” that is commonly used by crafters to create a myriad of lifestyle products. Its liquid nature allows it to takes the shape of any moulds before hardening to form usable products such as coasters, accessories, trays, notebook covers, bottle openers and many more.

Who can join this workshop?

If you are new to resin art, this is a great first step into the world of resin. The content is suitable for children above 7 years old and adults. Children below 7 years old should be accompanied by adults as the workshop will require participants to measure, mix and handle epoxy resin with alcohol inks.

Where can i hold this workshop?

The workshop is suitable to be conducted at homes, offices or any indoor places with flat surfaces. However it is important to ensure that the workshop location is still accessible the next day as epoxy resin takes around 24 hours to cure (harden).

Virtual or physical workshop?

We are flexible, this workshop can be delivered online, on-site or in a hybrid set up (some people join in online while others are on-site) .

What can i expect from this workshop?

As the workshop is designed to be an introduction to resin art, you have an option between making flat coasters or coaster with rims as it is easier to handle. Given that epoxy resin takes about 24 hours to cure (harden), please note that the final product will not be ready to use immediately. Regardless, it is definitely a great keepsake that reminds you of the happy time spent.
